Presently located in a new 35,000 sq. foot warehouse with attending sales offices, Ace Industrial Supply, Burbank CA employs a staff of over 240 salespeople in eight different locations. The facility’s shell was built by Voigt Development Co. and its interior was designed by Ware Malcomb Design and constructed by Valley Builders Inc. The firm was created by Tim Stearns in 1981 in his parent’s garage when he was just 18 years old. At the promise of retaining a permanent employee Tim leased his first building in Burbank a short year later. Ace Industrial Supply, Burbank CA was mainly incorporated for supplying a wide variety of brand name tools and industrial equipment to a large number of clients through effective telephone sales.

Prior to starting the firm, Tim was a salesman in the distribution of construction tools and supplies. During that time, he realized some inequities that the despite of doing a large amount of work, salespeople were not paid accordingly.
